4-H Market Poultry Project

This exciting opportunity allows members to raise broiler chickens, exhibit them before the fair and then sell them during the 4-H Market Goat and Poultry Auction during August. Program changes for 2022 include date changes for growing schedule and show. 

Broiler pickup: approximately June 3rd.

Broiler show: Saturday, July 27th

Community service requirement: donation of two processed birds to Wyoming County Community Action.

Complete program guidelines are available on the 4-H website. Participants must be enrolled 4-H members and register for this program by March 29th.

Minimum of 6 chicks, maximum of 12 chicks per participant.

Cost: $2.00/chick.

Orders are due no later than March 29th via form found in the 4-H News or you may
