Join Don Gasiewicz of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Wyoming County and Dan Chasey of Castile Cider Mill and Genesee Valley Apiaries for a discussion and demonstration on care and maintenance of your fruit plantings. We will cover the reasons why pruning is necessary, proper pruning equipment for each cut, when to prune, and how to prune apple, pear, plum, peach, and grapes. This workshop will be outdoors. Please dress for the weather.
This workshop will be in person. We will be following Forward NY Safety protocols for wearing face coverings, social distancing, hand washing and sanitizing. We are not able to provide refreshments. Participants are encouraged to bring their own water labeled with their name.
