Cornell Agricultural Workforce Development leadership courses are appropriate for both new and experienced farm supervisors and managers, and those preparing to become supervisors. All participants will learn leadership concepts and practice skills that will improve their ability to build a positive workplace and get results through leading others.

Managing Performance: Understand motivation. Harness the power of performance feedback and coaching. Build clear and effective workplace communications. Set safety expectations. Conduct effective performance improvements. Materials will release November 10, 2021 and live weekly Zoom discussions will be held from 3 to 4 PM EDT each Tuesday from November 16 through December 21. Participation in the live sessions is highly encouraged and provides a valued opportunity for peer to peer learning and networking. Cost is $275 for the six-week course. REGISTRATION IS OPEN

The courses are offered through Moodle, an easy-to-use online learning platform, that can be accessed from your computer’s web browser. From the comfort of your home or office, watch presentations and complete activities on your own schedule. Participate in the weekly discussion session to engage with instructors and classmates on the week’s topic and assignments. Virtual discussions with class members are encouraged and enhance the overall experience.
