Cornell Cooperative Extension offers vital resources to the Agricultural Community in Wyoming County. Our mission is to enable people to improve their lives and communities through partnerships that put experience and research knowledge to work. One of the main ways that we aim to accomplish this goal is through our Agriculture Program enrollment. Enrolling is easy and can benefit you, your farm, or even your home garden in many ways. Some of the enrollment benefits you will receive:


  • Based on interests you have, you will be sent notifications of upcoming educational events
  • Link to Cornell University, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
  • Animal and plant science & management education
  • Applied research on farms in our community
  • Workforce development for the dairy industry
  • Connecting consumers to locally grown foods
  • Marketing education for producers who sell direct to consumers
  • Food safety education to protect & preserve quality local foods
  • Natural resource education in forestry, maple & beekeeping
  • Support development of community gardens
  • Classes & discussion groups for gardeners, growers & homesteaders

  • Discount on full-nutrient soil analysis
  • Complimentary plant & pest identification
