Whether you’re a hobbyist or aiming for commercial success, this workshop offers valuable knowledge for all levels of mushroom cultivation.

During this session participants will:

  • Be provided valuable insights into growing shiitakes and other outdoor cultivated mushrooms as a profitable crop.
  • Actively engage in soaking, fruiting, and harvesting shiitake mushrooms, allowing them to apply these techniques in their own mushroom laying yard.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of how to turn this exciting agricultural opportunity into a profitable venture.
  • Discuss the specific small pole-sized trees harvested for inoculation, highlighting the reasoning behind selecting these trees as part of forest stewardship and improvement.
