EMPLOYMENT

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Wyoming County has an opening for full-time Youth Development / Ag In the Classroom Educator located from the Warsaw, NY office.

The Youth Development Educator will serve as a member of the Youth Development Team, assisting with the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of youth-focused educational programs and activities.

This position will have a specific focus on:

  • School-based programs, including Agriculture in the Classroom (AITC) and Dairy in the Classroom (DITC)
  • Farm to School initiatives in collaboration with Cornell Cooperative Extension Farm to School partners and Central School System contacts.
  • 4-H STEAM programming (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Agriculture, Mathematics) in coordination with the 4-H STEAM Committee.
  • In addition to school-year programming, responsibilities will include assisting in development of summer day camps and Wyoming County Fair-related events.

Expected Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-Time)
Hourly Wage: $23.50 per hour
