Eat Fresh Buy Local Guide gets a FRESH update!

Our staff is excited to announce that our annual ‘Eat Fresh, Buy Local’ Guide is transitioning to ‘Buy Wyoming County Grown’. In a joint campaign with the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism office, we hope to extend the reach of our Buy Local Guide to both local and visiting consumers who seek fresh and local products.

This season we are working towards providing all of our previous ‘Eat Fresh, Buy Local’ printed listings on a digital platform – living on the Go Wyoming County Tourism website. Please visit BuyWyomingCountyGrown.com to see our county’s current offerings! There is a fantastic interactive map that makes searching for specific items a breeze. We plan to promote this new branding with a new logo and information on our Cornell Cooperative Extension site as well. We are presently working with our partners to get the on-line Wyoming County Eat Fresh Buy Local Guide, up and running to better serve your businesses. This will allow us to update and change your listing on an ongoing basis versus annually. If you and your business would like to be featured in this listing, please contact our office at 585-786-2251. We still also have some of last year’s print brochures available at our office.

The number of local farms and producers that sell directly to consumers continues to grow in abundance and variety, and we are pleased to be supportive of their efforts. Thank you for supporting our efforts – it is a pleasure to promote all that Wyoming County agriculture has to offer. If you know of producers that are new in business and would like to be featured as we move to an online platform, please have them give us a call.

The guide offers listings in the following categories:
