Get your Gladiola orders in!

If you have never participated in the Gladiola program this is the year to start. Gladiolas are beautiful perennial (meaning they come back every year) bulb (like a tulip) that need to be planted in May and bloom just in time to show at the Wyoming County Fair.

Here are the facts:

  • The Western NY Gladiola Society sponsors this project every year.
  • Each 4-Her who signs up receives approximately 24 bulbs.
  • 1st year members - $5.00.
  • Anyone who has participated in the past the cost is $10.00.
  • To complete the project youth will need to have one entry in the open class gladiola show in the Youth Building on Sunday at the Wyoming County Fair.
  • A meeting to pick up bulbs will be held in May. 1st year members are required to attend!

If you are interested in participating fill out the tear slip in the December 4-H news and drop it in the mail, bring it to the 4-H office or email it to sac347@cornell.edu.Limited quantities available.

Fee

$4.00 1st year member. Past Participants pay $8.00
