Cornell Cooperative Extension - Wyoming County Announces Sale of Camp Wyomoco
Wyoming County, NY – June 26, 2024 – After careful consideration, the Board of Directors of Cornell Cooperative Extension - Wyoming County has decided to put Camp Wyomoco up for sale, effective June 25, 2024. Camp Wyomoco, a cherished part of the Wyoming County experience, has left an indelible mark in the hearts and minds of county residents. The decision to sell the property, a difficult one, comes after years of weighing the costs of managing the camp and prior enrollment decline. As a result, the Board is now seeking to secure a sustainable future for the vigorous property while exploring programming opportunities that will benefit the community the most.
The property boasts several unique and valuable physical and natural features that make it a prime investment opportunity for any future buyer who will keep the community in mind. Guiding the sale process is seasoned professional Brian Bullard, a trusted name in the industry and owner and operator of Timberland Realty since 1989. Bullard's extensive experience valuing recreational, forestry, and wildlife management lands ensures a fair assessment of the property's worth, benefiting all stakeholders.
