The entire Wyoming county 4-H staff is here for anything you and your families may need, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of us with your question(s)!


Fall Harvest Recognition Dinner

  • Don’t forget that our Fall Harvest Recognition Dinner pickup is tomorrow – Saturday, November 6th from 3-5pm at the 4-H office. Dinners must have been pre-ordered and award recipients were notified in the mail. We look forward to celebrating tomorrow with everyone!


2021 – 2022 Enrollment Deadlines

  • Make sure to fill out your enrollment/re-enrollment forms as soon as possible! Re-enrollment forms are due by November 30th for returning meat animal auction participants if you want to remain eligible for that project. Updating your forms with current email addresses, mailing addresses and phone numbers is critical to receiving timely information from the 4-H office! Please make sure to look over your forms carefully before submitting.


Meat Animal Beef and Dairy Beef Project Weigh-in

  • Saturday, December 4th from 8:30-11:30am at Pavilion Livestock. Updated meat animal project rules are available on our website have been mailed to last year’s participants along with youth that have turned in enrollment forms indicating interest in the program. Please email Holly with any questions regarding the upcoming project year or if you would like a copy of the updated information. Families must register before the weigh-in for an available timeslot through this link https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/WYCOBEEF_256


Club officer training

  • Does your club have new officers that would benefit from an interactive training that will help them lead your group? Club officer training is coming up on Thursday, November 11th at 9:30am. Since most schools are not in session that day, it is a great time to get together and learn about running a business meeting using parliamentary procedure. All officers that attend will receive officer recognition pins. Please register by 11/8 by calling the 4-H office.


CCE Annual Meeting

  • The Wyoming County CCE Annual Meeting will take place on Thursday, November 18th, 7pm at the Ag & Business Center. Program participants are invited to hear association-wide updates and vote for board and program committee candidates on the ballot.


4-H Office Holiday Office Closings

  • The 4-H office will be closed on 11/11 for Veteran’s Day along with 11/25 and 11/26 for Thanksgiving.


Win-A-Calf and Living Learning Dairy Orientation

  • Monday, December 13th at 6:30 PM. If you are interested in learning more about dairy this is a great project! Email Stephanie at sal294@cornell.edu to register. 

4-H Teen Council Meeting This Coming Thursday

  • 11/11 – at 11am – at the 4-H office! Teens ages 13-19 are invited to join us for some Adulting Olympics! Call the 4-H office to RSVP by 11/5.
