Vegetable Production

Staff are available in Wyoming County to answer questions, provide resources, and to make site visits to commercial operations to help with pruning, soil nutrient management, plant diseases, insects and pests.

The Cornell vegetable website can help with season extension techniques, marketing and production systems, wildlife, weeds, and disease. Soil fertility and cover cropping information is also available.

Invasive Species- Visit the New York State Invasive Species Clearinghouse and see which insects and plants are noxious to humans or out competing our native species.
