The entire Wyoming county 4-H staff is
here for anything you and your families may need, please do not hesitate to
reach out to any of us with your question(s)!
Teen Council
- Reminder
that the teen council meeting is scheduled for Monday February 21st! We plan to
meet at the Warsaw Village Park for sledding (BYOS – Bring your own sled!) at
11:30AM! Any 4-H’er age 13+ is welcome to attend!
Cookie
Sale
- Paperwork (including order forms, incentive sheets, cash/check forms
and all sale information) has been mailed to all 4-H families regarding the
60th annual Wyoming County 4-H cookie sale! Expect to see if in your mailbox
this week. This year’s sale is a pre-order format, with all orders to be placed
between February 14th - 27th and finalized with payment by Monday February
28th. ALL 4-H members ages 8+ are eligible and encouraged to sell cookies!
Remember without this fundraiser, we could not continue to offer the variety of
programming to our county youth. Please call the 4-H office or email Sarah at
sac347@cornell.edu for any questions or concerns!
Horseless
Horse Club
- Our February meeting is scheduled for Monday the 14th at 6:30pm. This
month, breeds and markings will be the meeting topic! Any 4-H member can attend
these monthly meetings!
Virtual
Dog Open House
- Have questions about the spring dog obedience program? The virtual dog
open house is scheduled for Wednesday February 16th at 7pm.

STEM
Buddies
- Tuesday, February 22nd 9:00AM – 11:30AM at the 4-H office. Youth ages 5-10 will participate in age-appropriate
STEM activities that are sure to be fun! Pre-registration is required, and space is limited. Call the 4-H office to sign up!
NYS
4-H Virtual Dairy Bowl Series
- Join the NYS 4-H Dairy Committee as they host guest speaker every
Thursday in February from 6:30-7:45PM. Each week a new topic will be
discussed. The topics include: Calf & Heifer Care, Milk Quality & Udder
Health, Crops & Nutrition, and Reproduction. After each presentation there
will be a Kahoot! Game with dairy bowl questions. To register for the event

Skill-a-thon
- Saturday,
February 12, 2022, at 9:30 AM at the Ag & Business Center in Warsaw. This
fast-paced skill-a-thon will include individual and team events. The event will
include pin the body part on the cow, questions with a buzzer round, dairy
jeopardy, and more! Pre-registration is REQUIRED to plan for the event. Call
the 4-H office to RSVP, RSVPs are due by February 10th.

Small Engines, Tractor and Certification Series
- Begins Monday, February 7th at 7pm.Our first location is at Larry Romance &
Son in Arcade. Contact the 4-H office

Presentations
- Registration for public presentations has closed. For
those who have registered, look for a confirmation email early next week with
an appointment time.
Pheasant
Orders Due
- All orders are due to the 4-H office by March
1st.Fill out the form included in the
December newsletter or contact the 4-H office.
Kits
Available
- The 4-H office has some extra scrapbooking kits
available! These would be a great craft for a club meeting, that is already
assembled! Call the office if your club is interested!
