Free Fair Tee Shirt Orders


Livestock Program

  • Beef Showmanship Clinic - Tuesday, June 28th starting at 7pm, 2939 Glor Road.No pre – registration is required at this point.This event will fulfill the educational requirement to show beef, sheep or swine at the fair.
  • Swine Showmanship Clinic -Wednesday, July 6th starting at 6pm, Wyoming County Fairgrounds.Please note there was a misprint on the 4-H News calendar and this event is 7/6.No pre-registration is required at this point.This event will fulfill the educational requirement to show beef, sheep or swine at the fair.
  • Meat Animal Midway Weight Check -Saturday, July 9th from 10am – 12pm, Wyoming County Fairgrounds.This is an OPTIONAL opportunity for families to check animal weights if they do not have access to a scale at home.The beef scale is not currently set up so if anyone needs beef weights, please let Holly know by June 29th.
  • Animal Health Inspections for Fair -Perry Vet Clinic is offering discounted health inspections/paperwork for Wyoming County 4-H members on Saturday, July 9th from 10am – 12pm at the Wyoming County Fairgrounds.This is available to any beef, sheep, swine, goat or dairy members.You must pre-register and have payment the day of the event.Animals need to be unloaded and loaded by families.Call Holly at 585-786-2251 or email for questions.
  • Last Chance Livestock Event - Thursday, July 14th @ 7pm –at the Ag & Business Center.Please call the 4-H office to register.
  • Livestock Scholarship Applications - This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and post high school students intending to further their education at an institution of higher education or directly entering the workforce.Meat animal project participation for the last four years is required, including the current project year.Applications are due July 25th.Contact Holly for details.
  • Meat Animal Auction members, remember that you need to complete the online YQCA training by July 15th to participate in the auction program.We have coupons to cover the cost of the training in the office.Call the office or email hmh62@cornell.edu for questions.
  • Auction posters must be in place no earlier than July 1st and no later than July 15th
  • Auction tee shirt order forms are due back to the 4-H office by July 8th (this includes beef, sheep, swine, market goats and broilers). If you did not receive this form, please contact the office ASAP.


NYS Fair Horse Qualifier Show!

  • A reminder that the qualifier show is coming up on Saturday, July 9th! Click HERE for the entry link! Preregistration is not a requirement this year but is accepted. We look forward to seeing our 4-H equine members there! Remember that only Jr. and Sr. riders can qualify for state fair participation, but this show is also a great opportunity for our younger riders.


Dairy Program

  • Dairy Showmanship Clinic - Monday, June 27th starting at 5:30 pm at the Wyoming County Fairgrounds. This is the last educational event to show dairy at the fair.
  • NYS Junior Dairy Leaders -CALS Junior Dairy Leaders and Beginning Dairy Leader Program applications are due June 30th. Please see links below for the applications.

Goat Program

  • Goat Showing & Fitting Clinic - Monday, July 11th starting at 5:30 pm at the Wyoming County Fairgrounds. Youth may bring a goat to practice with during the clinic. This is the last educational event to show goats at the fair.


Youth Building at the Wyoming County Fair!

  • Pages 13-20 of the 4-H news outline all of the opportunities to be involved in the youth building at the fair. Please reach out with any questions or concerns you may have regarding events, fair entries, etc.!
  • Interested in being a Jr. Superintendent in the Youth building? Want to help with one of our daily activities or clean? We are in need of clubs and individuals to volunteer to help make our youth building shine throughout the week of fair! Please email wyomingcounty4h@cornell.edu or call our office if you’re interested. You can reference page 17 of the latest 4-H news for more details!


Cake & Pie Auction

  • Please note that we only have 10 slots available for youth to participate in the cake and pie auction this year! Preference will be given to more senior members. Please call the 4-H office to register by July 15th!


FCS Scholarship

  • This scholarship is open to high school seniors and post high school students intending to further their education at an institution of higher education.

Centennial Event – THANK YOU

  • Thank you to all the 4-H families who came to our centennial celebration on June 12th. Fun was had by all. If you brought an exhibit to be displayed in the youth building and did not pick them up, please call the 4-H office.


Centennial Cookbook – looking for recipes!

  • Do you have a beloved 4-H club or family recipe you would like to be a part of our special centennial cookbook?? Please email your typed recipe to wyomingcounty4h@cornell.edu or mail to 36 Center St., Suite B Warsaw NY by July 15th! This is your opportunity to be a part of history! Pending printing and shipping, we hope to have these cookbooks available to purchase at the fair.


Community Service Opportunities!

  • Connect 55+ Warsaw is looking for 4-H clubs, families or members that are willing to do presentations for their community members this summer.Presentations should be 30-45 minutes in length and can cover club activities, fair preparation, or other topics of choice.If you are interested and would like more details, please email hmh62@cornell.edu for more details.
  • The Attica Historical Society is seeking volunteers for a the WYCO Hill Country Ride, a community bike ride and celebration of all things ag in Attica. The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 9th beginning at 10:00am. The Historical Society is seeking help with ticketing, set up, clean up, etc. If interested, please contact our office for more details!


Upcoming office closures!

  • The Wyoming County 4-H office will be closed Monday, July 4th for the holiday. Please plan accordingly.
