DAIRY CATTLE JUDGING

  • Saturday, May 6, 2023, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM; starting at Old Acres Farm, Perry.
  • Boots and cards will be provided. Youth should provide a writing utensil.
  • This event will satisfy the educational requirement to show dairy at the fair.

MEAT ANIMAL SWINE WEIGH IN

  • Hogs will be weighed in for the meat animal auction program either Friday, May 5th (4-8pm) or Saturday, May 6th (9-11am). Weigh-in packets were mailed to youth that participated last year or expressed interest on their current enrollment forms.

  • Participating families NEED to register online for a timeslot to bring project animals to the fairgrounds. FARRIER CLINIC

  • Sunday May 21st, 10AM at Wolcott Farms, Warsaw
  • Please call the 4-H office to register for this event. Participation will count as an educational event to show horses at the 2023 Wyoming County Fair.

NIGHT WITH THE MUCK DOGS

  • Tuesday, June 6th at @ 6:35PM, Dwyer Stadium; doors open at 5:30pm
  • Tickets are FREE for 4-H members & 4-H Clubs; you receive 1 free ticket, hot dog, popcorn, and drink!
  • Contact the 4-H office by May 24th if you or your club are interested or if you have any questions.

MINUTE TO WIN IN STEM CHALLENGE

  • Monday, June 19th at 9:30 AM at the Ag & Business Center, Warsaw
  • Open for 4-H youth ages 5-12
  • This STEM challenge day will have a variety of activities ranging from building a catapult, Minute to Win-It games, and creating coding with the robotic ozobots! Please contact the 4-H office by May 12th to register for this opportunity.

CLOTHING REVUE

  • Friday May 5th, 7:30pm at the Warsaw High School
  • The Wyoming County 4-H Clothing Revue is an opportunity for youth in Wyoming County to learn about sewing and participate in a fashion show! All 4-H community members and families are welcome to attend the revue and support our youth!

4-H GIANT VEGETABLE AND GLADIOLA MEETING

  • Wednesday, May 10th 6:30pm – 7:30pm at the Ag & Business Center
  • A reminder for those who signed up for the gladiola project and/or giant vegetable project. If you’re unable to make the meeting date, plants bulbs and seeds will be available for pickup after May 10th.

VOLUNTEER CPR TRAINING CLASS

  • Saturday, May 13th, 9:00am at the Ag & Business Center
  • For enrolled 4-H volunteers! A great opportunity to learn first aid and CPR in case of emergency. Please call ahead to register for this opportunity.

4-H COOKIE DECORATING WORKSHOP

  • Thursday, May 18, 2023, 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM at the Ag & Business Center
  • Instructors: Kelly and Brandy of Milk and Honey Baking Company (follow on Facebook and/or Instagram!)
  • For enrolled 4-H’ers ages 12+
  • Cost: $10 per youth
  • Want to learn how to decorate cookies like a pro? This is the workshop for you! Youth will make a cookie “set” of an ice cream cone. Please note, families will have to pick up cookies the following day, as they need 24 hours to dry.
