NYS FAIR ANIMAL ENTRIES

  • Any youth exhibitors that plan to attend the NYS Fair with animals under the 4-H/youth division MUST complete the online entry process by 8/4. If you have any thoughts about taking animals to state fair, call the 4-H office or email us for entry information so that you can make the deadline.


4-HORSE BARN CLEAN UP & HORSELESS HORSE CLUB MEETING

  • Monday, July 31st at 6:30pm
  • We encourage ALL horse project members to attend this brief meeting. We will be working on making sure the barns and surrounding areas are fair ready after the meeting.

GLADIOLA MEETING

  • Tuesday, August 1st at 7:00pm; Spencer’s Farm, 6496 Oatka Road, Perry

OPEN CLASS DAIRY & LIVESTOCK ENTRIES

  • All dairy and livestock open class entries will be due to the Wyoming County Fair Office in Pike by Tuesday, August 1st. Entries are available at the 4-H office in Warsaw OR the Fair Association office in Pike.

FAIRGROUND BARN CLEAN-UP

  • Tuesday, August 8th at 5:30 PM
  • Dairy, Livestock, and small animal exhibitors come on out and help spruce up the barns before the fair starts! Bring shovels, brooms, rakes, pitchforks, wheelbarrows, etc.

YOUTH BUILDING EVALUATION DAY

  • Friday, August 11th from 1:00 – 7:00pm
  • First come first serve basis. We will have judges evaluating all static exhibits including arts and crafts, fine arts, vegetables and flowers, natural resources, photography foods, woodworking, and stem projects, etc! Also including cloverbud exhibits.

YOUTH BUILDING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

  • Clean Up/Decorate Youth Building: Tuesday, August 8th from 9:00am – 12:00pm or Wednesday, August 9th from 2:00 – 4:00pm
  • Youth Building Exhibit Judging Friday, August 11th: Helper/Runner (11 years and older), Teen Evaluator (13 years and older), Exhibit Registration Table (Adults Only); 1:00 – 4:00pm or 4:00pm to 7:00pm
  • Sweep Youth Building, all shifts are 10am-11am; Saturday, August 12th through Friday, August 18th.
  • “Make it and Take it” Hands-on activity (Sign up as a club or individually)

FAIR BOOKS & PARKING PASSES

  • Fair books are available in the 4-H office. There is also a PDF version on our website for your convenience.
  • Weekly parking passes are available in the 4-H office at $30 per pass. If you are an enrolled 4-H leader you get one (1) discounted parking pass at $15; if you need additional passes, they will be $30. Please make checks payable to the Wyoming County Fair Association
