ROPE HALTER MAKING WORKSHOP (FULL)
- Due to overwhelming interest for Monday’s rope halter workshop, we have closed registrations for the event. If you are not registered, please do not just show up hoping to participate as we have supplies ready for those currently registered. We may schedule another opportunity during the February break. Watch the next edition of the 4-H News for more information.
TRACTOR SAFETY PROGRAM
- There is still time to register for the upcoming Tractor Safety series. Youth that will be 14 years old by April 1, 2023, may participate in the Certification Program which begins on January 23rd at the 4-H office. All other participants will start on February 6th at Larry Romance in Arcade.
DAIRY BOWL PRACTICES
- Saturday, January 28th at 9:30 AM, held at the AG & Business Center.
- Teams or individuals are welcome to participate in our annual dairy bowl contest. Question packets are available at the 4-H office (one per family). Registration for the event is due to Stephanie by Friday, January 20th! Any questions, call the 4-H office at (585) 786-2251. Held at the 4-H office in Warsaw, come practice dairy bowl questions. Email Stephanie at sal294@cornell.edu to register today!
DAIRY JEOPARDY
- Tuesday, February 21st at 6:30pm.
- Styled like the popular television game show, this fun filled event will include questions about cattle breeds, dairy products, dairy nutrition, and much more! Register by February 14th.
SOAP & CANDLE MAKING WORKSHOPS (FULL)
- Thank you for all the interest in both the soap and candle making workshops. The two classes scheduled in February are currently full.
CAPRINE KIDS – COUNTY WIDE GOAT CLUB
- Next meeting is Tuesday, February 14th at 6:00pm.
- Held at the Ag & Business Center, Warsaw.
PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS
- 4-H Public Presentation ZOOM Workshop - Wednesday, January 25th 7pm
- Interested in learning more about the public presentation process? Need help picking a topic? Youth. Parents and leaders are invited to attend this virtual workshop session. Please email or call the 4-H office to register. A zoom link will be sent to those who pre-register the week of the 25th.

HORSE BOWL
- Don’t forget, horse bowl is tonight at 6:30pm at the Ag & Business Center, Warsaw!
2023 COOKIE SALE (PRE-ORDER, PRE-SALE ONLY)
- The Wyoming County Cookie Sale is fast approaching! Detailed information will be mailed to 4-H families in the coming weeks. Remember this is the only fundraiser we ask our membership to participate in all year, and it is a great opportunity to encourage the community to support our program.
- Dates: Monday, February 20th – Sunday, March 5th
- Variety: Fudge Mint, Peanut Butter Crème, Lemon Crème, Maple Crème, Raspberry Whippets and Snickerdoodle Crème.
LEADER ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION
- Thursday, January 26th at 7:00pm at the Ag & Business Center, Warsaw
- An opportunity for leaders & staff to discuss project ideas & answer questions. Topics this month will include Produced in NY Contest, Public Presentations, Cookie Sale & Club Meetings. Please pre-register by Monday, January 23rd so we can plan accordingly!
